Celebrate Picture Books

November is Picture Book Month. I always loved reading picture books to my four children as they were growing up. Did you know research shows that picture books stimulate language, brain, and attention span development in young children? Something so simple as reading with your child is actually quite powerful! Make it a habit to read to your preschooler every day. You will create wonderful memories and build brain power.

To celebrate Picture Book Month, the library will be hosting Picture Book Palooza on Fridays in November at 10:10 a.m. at the Kimberly Library. Each week will feature a well-loved story with related activities and crafts.

Stop by either location and check out some great picture books to share all month long!
