Introduction to Container Gardening

Containers can turn your balcony into a vegetable or herb garden, dress up an entryway or add interest to a flower bed. The Outagamie County Master Gardeners will discuss the uses for container gardening and demonstrate how to put a container together. There will be a drawing for the containers assembled at the program!

Join us for a presentation by professional organizer Sarah Tibbits from Nesting Neatly. With her"7 Tips for Organization," you'll be ready to start organizing any room in your home.

canned foodFood Preservation 101

Come and learn the basics of home food preservation using current, research based methods. Topics we will cover will include canning equipment, freezing foods, food dehydration, pickles and relishes. The Outagamie County Master Food Preservers will share basics of canning and food preservation to help you get started. Research based food preservation resources and websites will also be shared so that you have the current, recommended practices for a safe food product.
