Classic Movie MondayEnjoy a free afternoon at the movies! Join us each month for a favorite classic film. This month's title is The Music Man, starring Robert Preston and Shirley Jones. Fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, tries to con the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band that he vows to organize – this, despite the fact that he doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef. Master Gardener Presents: CompostingLet a Master Gardener take the mystery out of composting by introducing simple steps and ingredients needed for turning your yard and kitchen waste into useful and soil enriching compost. Participants will learn tips on making compost; different methods of making compost, including worm composting and compost tea; and tips on how to take advantage of nature’s perfect soil to benefit your plants. You’ll discover making and using compost is easy, fun, and environmentally friendly.
