Great Beginnings Book ClubJoin us as we discuss Still Life by Louise Penny. Chief Inspector Armand Gamache of the Surete du Quebec and his team of investigators are called in to the scene of a suspicious death in a rural village south of Montreal. Local Author Visit: Gary and Julie BeyerLocal author Gary Beyer and his wife Julie chronicle their journey since Gary’s 2008 diagnosis with Inclusion Body Myositis, a rare and untreatable muscle disease. Gary’s new book, I Promise I’ll Pay Attention, draws special attention to the important role of caregivers, and the challenges they face. Despite the physical and emotional challenges, Julie and Gary share a positive and hopeful message.
