Books & BrewsMeet us at Seth's Coffee for a new book club for the 20's & 30's crowd. We'll be discussing A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness.  Debut novelist Harkness has crafted a mesmerizing and addictive read, equal parts history and magic, romance and suspense--a richly inventive novel about a centuries-old vampire, a spellbound witch, and the mysterious manuscript that draws them together. Take Your Child to the Library Day: Frozen PartyDress up as your favorite Frozen character for a morning of celebrating the library and marking the conclusion of our Frozen winter reading program. We'll share a Frozen story and songs, and include activity stations perfect for Frozen fans. The library has so much to offer for the whole family. Snowshoe & Cross Country Ski BasicsNaturalist Debbie Nowak from Thousand Islands Environmental Center will share an introduction to snowshoeing and cross country skiing. Learn about the different types of snowshoes and skis, with a focus on the appropriate selection of gear and the basics of what you need and where to go to get started.   If you’ve thought about getting into snowshoeing or cross country skiing, this is a great introduction to the sport!  Be sure to bring boots and dress for the weather. Master Gardeners Starting Plants From Cuttings...A plant swap is a fun and easy way to expand your plant collections. The Outagamie County Master Gardeners will teach us how to start house plants from cuttings. Bring cuttings from your plants to share with others. These cuttings should be at least 6 inches long and wrapped in damp paper towel. Exchange your cuttings for other material that is brought. You don’t need to bring plants to participate! Fox Valley Ghost HuntersCome meet the Fox Valley Ghost Hunters. Learn the ins and outs of their line of work and witness evidence from their past investigations in Wisconsin and other haunted places. Video and sound recordings will be shared.   Fox Valley Ghost Hunters is a professional group of dedicated and caring individuals that was established to help residents of Wisconsin and the U.P. of Michigan understand paranormal activity in their homes or places of business. Midweek MatineeHassan is a culinary ingenue with the gastronomic equivalent of perfect pitch. Displaced from their native India, his family settles in a quaint village in the south of France. They plan to open an Indian restaurant, that is, until Madame Mallory, the owner of a classical French restaurant, gets wind of it. Her icy protests against the new Indian restaurant so near her own escalate to all out war; until Hassan's cooking talent and love for Mme. Mallory's assistant, Marguerite cannot be ignored.
