Nationally-known polka musician Mike Schneider from Milwaukee will perform his Pint Size Polka program with lots of audience participation and many chances to dance. Loads of fun for all ages! This program is sponsored by FOLKS (Friends of the Library).

Memory Cafes welcome those experiencing early stage dementia, mild memory loss or cognitive impairment as well as family and friends of those affected.  It's a great opportunity for lively discussions, information gathering, refreshments, camaraderie and lots of creative fun!  Please be aware that our policy is that for safety reasons, everyone needs to attend with at least 1 partner.  A collaboration of the Fox Valley Memory Project, Village of Kimberly Parks and Recreation, and Kimberly LIttle Chute Library

Love to code or want to learn more about it? Taught by programmer John Emenecker, this free workshop will teach you Scratch, a visual programming language created by M.I.T. Learn problem solving, creativity, and collaboration skills in a fun manner to create games, interactive stories, and animations. This class meets daily for an hour over five days, and a commitment to attend each day is expected. Registration is required as space is limited. Arrive at the park anytime between 5-7 p.m. to enjoy a self-led story walk in the woods. Pages from a delightful picture book by Keiko Kasza, who will be visiting the library in October, will be stationed along the stroller-friendly path to read together as you enjoy the beauty of nature. A craft related to the story will be available after the walk in the pavilion.
